Will I be able to teach after completing the Mat course?
Yes. Once you have completed your exam, you will be able to teach, as the Mat course qualifies you as a Pilates Mat instructor.

What is the difference between the Mat course and the Comprehensive course?
The Mat courses focuses on the Mat exercises as well as the foam roller, theraband, magic circle and ball. It covers the fundamentals of Pilates as well as anatomy, postures and assessment to encourage client specific training. The comprehensive course entails all the Pilates equipment (Reformer, Wunda Chair, Spine Corrector, Cadillac, Ladder Barrel and the entire repertoire from the mat course. The comprehensive course also goes into far more detail with regards to shoulders, backs, knees, special populations and pregnancy.
Will I be able to rehabilitate with the Mat course qualification?
You will only be able to rehabilitate with this course if you have a degree in physiotherapy or biokinetics. This is not an injury related, rehabilitative based course unless you have a health care qualification. However, this will allow you to assess postures in general clients and rehabilitate according to postural corrective work.

What qualifications do I need to attend the Pilates Unlimited courses?

What literature would assist me with the courses?
I always suggest – Muscle Testing and Function with Posture and Pain by Lippincott and Williams. Otherwise, any anatomy book that explains relative positions and functions of muscles as well as books on anatomy and movement. You are also able to download amazing 3D anatomy apps.
